Description:
Dance concert featuring the exciting, revamped version of Ray Sullivan and Jorge Gallardo’s “Bolero.” Set to Ravel’s famous musical masterpiece, MCDC’s dancers take the audience thorough a theatrical world not so different from our own, where we are unsure if we are puppets or leaders, followers or the flock and where, if released from our ties, can go wild, in jubilation or madness.
Also featured is the world premiere of Ray Sullivan’s “In Red Time.” This work shows the journey of two people through time and life, who they meet and love, and how they have lived along the way... even as time runs out… as time turns to “Red Time.” Costumes and sets by Jorge Gallardo and Lights by Carla Iparraguirre.
